This institute currently offers three year diploma courses in three(3) branches viz, Civil Engineering, Food Processing Technology and Mechanical Engineering. It is affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education & Skill Development and follows the syllabus specified by this council. This polytechnic is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The two storied building of the college stands on the land of area about 3.83 acres. The institute began its journey with its first batch of students in the year academic year 2014 - 2015. The intake capacity in each discipline is 60 students per Academic Year. The institute has well equipped laboratories and other infrastructural facilities for imparting sound theoretical knowledge and practical skill to the students.
